If you are one of our patients who has previously served in the UK Armed Forces it would be to your advantage to ensure that we are aware of the fact. Dr Faith Holdsworth (f)
MB BS BSc MRCGP DRCOG (London 1979)

Faith is the senior partner at the Practice. She qualified from London University in 1979 and joined the practice in 1988. In addition to her training in General Practice, she has professional interests in Obstectrics and Gynaecology. She has two children and is involved with the local community both through the Practice and the local Baptist Church. She enjoys walking, keeping fit at the gym and, is involved in local orchestras and solo work as a Harpist. She also enjoys travel, art and reading.
Dr Jude Obomighie (m)

MBBS (Benin 2003), MRCGP, DRCOG, DFSRH, DGM, PgDip(Therapeutics)


Jude undertook his undergraduate training in University of Benin, one of the best schools in Nigeria and has completed all of his postgraduate training in the UK. He worked as a junior doctor in various hospitals in Bristol, Cheltenham, Gloucester and Swindon. He completed his GP training in Swindon in August 2011 and joined the practice in September 2011. His special interests are elderly care and Dermatology. He is currently studying for a postgraduate degree in Dermatology in Cardiff University. Jude is happily married with 2 children and is a keen Arsenal FC fan. Other interests include politics, playing the keyboard and listening to music.

Dr Ben Riley (m)
BM BCh MA MRCGP DRCOG DFFP (Oxford 2000)

Ben trained at Oxford University Medical Shool and worked as a junior doctor at the John Radcliffe and Stoke Mandeville hospitals. He completed his GP training in Aylesbury in 2004 and joined The Fern Hill Practice in April 2007. He enjoys general medical practice and has a particular interest in skin problems. As well as working at Fern Hill, Ben also works as the Curriculum Development and Educational Resources Fellow at The Royal College of General Practitioners in London and, is the Clinical Project Lead of e-GP, a Department of Health funded e-learning project. He also sits on the editorial board of InnovAiT, an educational journal for GPs published by Oxford University Press.
Dr Angela Netherwood (f)

MBBS MRCGP DRCOG DCH DFSRH (London 1996)


Angela trained at the University College London Medical School, qualifying in 1996. She enjoyed working in various hospital specialties before taking a career break to accompany her husband on a posting to America. On returning to England she completed her GP training in Oxford in 2010. Her particular areas of interest are child health and family planning. With a husband and two young children to look after Angela doesn’t have much spare time! When she can she enjoys music, travel and walking. She is also an active member of her local Church, where she teaches Sunday school.
