red_orange_pillsIf the doctor has authorised for certain medicines to be available to you on a regular basis, further supplies can be obtained in one of the following ways:

  • Posting or bringing your slip to the surgery allowing us a minimum of 2 working days to process your request before collecting from the dispensary (or on Thursday afternoon only, - our branch surgery at Southmoor Village Hall). The order slip is the sheet which dispensary gives you with your tablets. Please tick the medicines you need and indicate which dispensary/pharmacy you would like to collect from.
  • By e-mailing fernhill.dispensary@nhs.net.
  • Online via the home page 'order repeat prescription' button on our website www.fernhillpractice.co.uk
  • Telephoning the surgery (Mon – Fri 11am – 4pm) and reading your order over the phone. Please have your order slip beside you when telephoning to make sure we have all the information we need to issue your medication correctly. Please give us a minimum of 2 working days to process your order.
  • Faxing your order slip to the surgery on 01367 245425 allowing us a minimum of 2 working days before trying to collect.

POINTS TO REMEMBER

To process prescription requests safely and accurately we need a minimum of 2 working days notice. Don’t forget to order before running out! Use your re-order slip.

Only those medicines listed on it are available to you automatically. Any other requests have to be reviewed by the doctor who knows you best.

It is your responsibility to make sure you have a supply of the medicines you need. Please use the system responsibly.
